Our Services
Initial In-Home Consultation
This is where it all begins! You will meet our highly experienced trainer in the comfort of your own home. We will discuss you and your pup's needs and how to best take care of them. We look forward to strengthening your bond and trust with your pup!
ABEL Pupsters
This is our basic obedience training for young pups under one year old. We will work on command cues to introduce obedience to your pup to strengthen the bond between you and them for the rest of their lives! Starting price is $75/hr.
ABEL Pack Den
Whoever said an old dog can't learn new tricks? The ABEL Pack Den is our program for pups over one year old. While focusing on obedience, we also target any specific behaviors we want to improve (we would've reviewed this during our in-home consultation!). Starting price is $75/hr.
Rescue, Rehab, Relearn
This training package offers our basic obedience package, along with helping to give your rescue pup the grace, patience, and guidance to relearn trust in the world around them. We will guide you in gentle ways to help your pup introduce and navigate the things they are unsure of in practical, everyday situations. We understand rescuing a pup is one of life’s greatest rewards and can also be challenging. Sometimes we are fortunate to know a pup’s history when we rescue, but often we are not.
ABEL's PAW-sitive Staycation
This program, in collaboration with Dogs Bay Country Club for Dogs, is an all-inclusive board and train program. With this, it will include hour-long trainings by our trainer, Tobias, a 3-month subscription to ABEL's PAW-sitive Progress (a skills-maintenance program, which includes one private training session and two 30-minute phone/video calls with your trainer), and boarding at Dogs Bay's state-of-the-art boarding facilities! Starting at $1950 for two weeks.

Meet the Leader of the Pack!
ABEL Dog Training was founded by Tobias, and its popularity has grown exponentially since our establishment. Our trainer has been training dogs since his youth, and has been working with them professionally for the past seven years. He goes into it with these goals in mind: to unlock every pup's potential and strengthen the bond between pup and parent.
Our main focuses are positive reinforcement, where building a relationship is just as important as improving the behaviors themselves, and working with the nature of the pup, knowing that no pup is perfect; they have thoughts and feelings of their own just like us! We found that traditional training can rely on punishment, which can build distrust and fear between you and your pup. We believe that learning to properly communicate with your pup can go a long way in terms of behavior management and strengthening that bond. We teach the pup and the owner the "why" behind behaviors and how to improve them with praise, patience, persistence, and practice.
